What is the JAE UTAU PROJECT?
The JAE UTAU PROJECT consists of characters who were created by a group of close friends. It began as a series of individual projects that were conceptualized and worked upon since 2014. At the time, there was no official name for the development team, and since the characters were not originally given relations to each other, there was no official name for the series. After the first character was released in 2016, the name "JAE" was pitched as the "serial code name". Thus, these UTAUS were referred to as the "JAE UTAUs".
